News 2022

  • In December 2022, Bendigo Magazine published a glossy article about my Faerie life. (Photos of this 3-page spread are now in our Gallery here. We’ll aim to add a few choice pics from other magazines of yesteryear.)

  • Congrats to my first & dearest friend Jenni Heinrich (nie Brown) on release of her hubby’s album on which Jenn plays bass. Entitled ‘Infinity Divinity’, by their indie rock band Much Karma, it is garnering international acclaim. Graeme Heinrich has one of the best male voices ever, reminiscent of Robert Plant & Bryan Ferry, and their songs are stellar. Catch them at Bandcamp.

  • Bendigo Library held a little festival Love of the Fey, involving an exhibition by Lorena Carrington (cover artist of our anthology), my storytelling & music, costume prizes, face painting, workshops, book chats, signings & readings. Special guests - authors Carmel Bird & Thang Day Luong, also Jenni Heinrich - joined me & Lorena. Despite understandable pandemic cancellations, it was well attended. Thang sold out of his novella Refugee Wolf, Carmel announced her book Telltale, and we sold South of the Sun in amplitude. Thanks all, including librarians, Bendigo Writers Festival, Bendigo Advertiser newspaper, Bendigo Magazine and bookstores such as Bookish. (Photos of this sweet event will soon appear in our Gallery.)
