The opening guitar riff was composed by Andrew Persi of Louisa’s duo Fionvarra in the early 90s. He gave it to Mark and Louisa, who developed it into a song, with vocal melody, chords and lyrics. Brett Taylor produced the song, adding a flute part by Samantha Taylor, his own percussion, bass and other instruments. Brett went on to produce two thirds of this album, now available digitally at Bandcamp. Its environmental theme has grown ever more relevant.
